Software Engineer for 12+ years including eight years at Microsoft where I held a management position. I left my job in April 2009 to become a life coach. For few years before making the shift, I had been having this constant inquiry within myself- what do I enjoy doing with my life?
I like working with people, I find it fulfilling to make myself available to listen to my friends and co-workers, I have been very motivated to help grow the people in my team, I truly enjoyed writing inspiring articles for women to realize their potential in family and work life. So when I finally listened to the calling of my heart, Life coaching was an obvious choice. On top of the rigorous Coach training I have been in since May 2009, eight+ years of corporate experience, working with two non-profit organizations and often helping my friends solving life and career issues have put me in a very good position in the life coaching arena. My coach mentors are already seeing me demonstrating PCC level experties. I am currently continuing classes with Invite Change to obtain my CPC (Certified Professional Coach). I am a proud member of ICF and Puget Sound Coaches Association.
I have walked into the shoes of high tech professionals. I know how hard it is to keep the life balanced inspite of constant hard work. Especially for women, we work almost 24/7 still it doesn't seem good enough, we are always haunted by the guilt feeling that we are not giving enough to the family or to our work!
