Workshop: Conflict Resolution

Sharmin’s introduction to LedBy was a blessing. Her passion for our work spoke volumes through her time commitment to creating a conflict resolution workshop designed for Indian Muslim women. Her workshop was personal and intimate and had the essence of practicality and aspiration. Her shared experiences with the stakeholders that were part of the session added a sense of belonging. One left the session with a renewed sense of confidence of “I can do it”, and I, along with others in attendance, will keep some of these lessons for life.

I had the pleasure of working with Sharmin as an executive coach. Going into the program, I was skeptical of what to expect from the engagement. However, working with her has been one of the most transformative and important career investment decisions I’ve ever made. After a few meetings, we could connect on a different tier. She unearthed my inner core through thoughtful reflection and reasoning to stay true to my values. She is truly a force of nature and showed me that I could benefit from coaching when I perhaps asked her one time what to expect from this venture. Now I can say it’s transformational to put things into practice and observe the results play out.

We started working together on this journey with a more traditional approach, setting goals, writeups, etc. Soon, I realized it was not about following a model or process but about exercising it as a day-to-day action. Sharmin diligently increased my awareness, convictions, and reasoning and effortlessly made me apply that to business goals. I realized that application and putting things in motion became so easy and natural (to bring forth one own inner strengths that all of us possess). My goals just fell in place and will continually help me become a better leader.

She’s a delight of personality, and I am humbled by how much she genuinely cares about the person she works with. She was dedicated to moving me forward. I admiringly recommend Sharmin to anyone who needs help with executive coaching.

Sharmin helped me see my blind spots and helped me grow as a leader in ways that I never imagined. Instead of running me through a canned curriculum, it helped me discover the best path to learn and grow. As a result, I developed habits that will make me a better professional leader and a better and more fulfilled person.
